They're Here! They're Here!

I remember as a child the anxious anticipation of someone coming to visit. Times were different then and it wasn't that uncommon for people to just drop by. But, since we lived out in the country, they had to make a special effort to come and usually called to let us know they were coming, and to make sure we were going to be at home. So, with that advance warning we would wait, usually impatiently, for their arrival. As they began to ascend the somewhat steep hill that was our driveway, you could hear someone announce their arrival. Special guests are always just that - special. I say all of this to let you know "they are coming" and will be here tonight. Who?, you ask. Why, our missionary guest, of course. They have come from various parts of the country to share their burden for lost souls in various parts of the world. These are young couples that are on deputation and seeking churches, like ours to help get them there. They have a zeal that we need to see and get a hold of. There is an excitement about the unknown future that God has for them that more than drives away any fear of that uncertainty. Why? Because they understand that the things that are yet kept from them are held by God, and in due time He will reveal them, along with His purpose. Yes, they are on their way and tonight we will be able to shout "they're here, they're here". If you are close by, I hope you will come and meet these wonderful servants of God.
