What Is Your Business?

Last week was quite a week with all of the things that were going on. One, of which, was the local county fair. It was interesting to see the many other booths that were there and the variety of businesses that were represented. We, of course, were there to give out free bottles of cold water to those who were sweltering in the humidity and heat. Along with that we also gave them a packet of information about our Church, which included the plan of Salvation. On one occasion a young couple came by and the young lady came over and got some water while the young man stood away from the booth. As she came back carrying the water and the packet of information, I heard him say "I knew there was a catch". By no means do we force the literature on anyone, but we do offer it to all who will receive it. Beside us was a lady associated with a real estate company. I stepped across to her and mentioned that what we were doing was closely related. She seemed somewhat puzzled since she knew we were a Church, so I explained it to her. I mentioned that she sold people houses and we made mansions available for free. Then I asked here if she had a mansion being built for her in Heaven. She now understood what I was referring to and assured me that she saved. My point in all of this is that she, like others out there that are Christians, had a line of work, but they also had a ministry while working. I have often referred to "business" as "busy" ness. What is it that keeps us busy? If it is the temporal things of this world, then we are missing the mark. So, what is your business?
